Dvanajščak Kozol Pušipel Classic 2022, Međimurje, Croatia
Croatia’s answer to Hungary’s flagship variety
DK’s location in the Croatian Uplands not far from the Hungarian border means its continental climate is suitable for growing and making Pušipel, known as Furmint in Hungary. This vibrant, lighter-bodied rendition has plentiful acidity that reveals itself through lively flavors like lemon, lime, and green apple – and its lower alcohol makes it suitable for sipping solo or with a variety of lighter foods like grilled seafood, chicken, and salads.
