The 11th edition of WineOS — which will be held January 16-17, 2026 in Osijek, Croatia — once again confirms the status of this fair as one of the most important wine and gastronomy events in this part of Europe. In addition to a strong exhibition component, WineOS has established a reputation through its premier program of educational masterclasses.

This year’s WineOS by Graševina Croatica offers seven top-notch masterclasses. The program is designed to satisfy wine professionals, restaurateurs, sommeliers, media, and longtime wine lovers, as well as those who want to deepen their knowledge in a structured, professional, and inspiring way.

The masterclass program is led by two prominent European sommeliers, Darko Lugarić and Mario Meštrović. They guarantee expertise, experience, and top-notch interpretation of wine. Their approach combines knowledge, practice, and storytelling, making each masterclass a top-tier tasting and an unforgettable experience.

Thematically, the masterclasses include some of the world’s most important and appealing wine regions and styles, from Champagne as a symbol of elegance and celebration, through the Mediterranean, to the top reds of Bordeaux. Masterclass participants will also get to know the Herzegovina terroir, tasting indigenous varieties and learning about the influence of vineyard location and elevation on the style of wine.

Saturday’s program offers a masterclass dedicated to Riesling — one of the most complex and most appreciated white varieties in the world — and concludes with a side-by-side tasting of two iconic wine regions of Burgundy and Piedmont, which represent two different, but equally passionate, approaches to top-quality wine.

WineOS’s Masterclasses have been sold out in advance for years, which clearly speaks to their quality and relevance. They are not solely an addition to the fair, they are its intellectual and educational foundation. It is through this program that WineOS positions itself as a reference point for wine education for Southeast Europe — a meeting place for knowledge, experience, and the highest professional standards.

Therefore, if your trip in January takes you to Osijek, you still have time to reserve a place in these premier masterclasses, rich experiences that every true wine lover deserves.
